Osceola Garage, My Story
It’s often said that if you choose a job you love you will never have to work a day in your life. I can say with sincerity, that this is how I feel about my company, Osceola Garage. My dream after graduating high school was to someday open up my own automotive repair business and that dream became a reality on October 1, 1980.
Being born and raised in the Bronx; I relocated to Putnam County, NY and founded my company on the culture and philosophy that I was taught growing up: Treat people with respect, take care of your customers as family and always go the extra mile. These principles quickly became the secret to our continued success.
We may have started out small; myself with one mechanic and a few work bays but we have been steadily growing since the day we started. In fact, we out grew the auto repair shop in the early 2000’s and have recently expanded in Mahopac, NY with a brand new car repair facility to better serve the community. Today we employ fifteen valued employees, who all share the same common values of team work, community-focus, and building relationships.
We are proud of the relationships created over the years. Perhaps the most gratifying for me personally is when I see the grandchildren of my first customers bringing me their cars for service.
Lastly, I want to mention my family and their never-ending support throughout the years. My wife April has been there for me every step of the way, especially through those tough early years, along with my children, Joe, Anthony and Julie.
My promise to you: Osceola Garage will continue to be the leader in the community and seek ways to remain at the forefront of automotive technology, while never compromising its core beliefs of creating lasting relationships, treating people with respect and always going the extra mile.
