It appears that a day can’t go by without hearing of another auto-related recall. General Motors has announced 29 recalls this year already, covering more than 13 million vehicles. That’s more cars than GM has sold in the past five years! And GM may announce more recalls this summer. GM is not alone. Don’t Ignore your Vehicle Safety Recalls Toyota and General Motors have been making headlines lately for ignoring serious safety issues and not notifying the public. Toyota’s recall issue is with the acceleration problem from faulty gas pedals, and GM with their ignition switch problems, which led to 12 deaths and many accidents.
