Checking Tire Pressure
Incorrect tire pressure is the number one cause of premature tire wear. Your tires should be checked at least once a month and adjusted to the correct pressure. Temperature differences can affect tire pressure. Colder weather will cause pressure to drop, while extreme hot weather will cause the pressure in your tires to rise.
When checking and adjusting tire pressure please check your owner’s manual or the placard label found on the door pillar at the driver’s door. Correct tire pressure will extend the life of your tires, maintain ride performance and handling. A good quality gauge can be purchased at your local auto parts supplier or professional auto service center.
