Alize Johnson’s Contribution to His Community

Alize Johnson, an NBA forward and ally of The Basketball Movement, has been using his platform to make a difference in his community and change lives. It is truly inspiring to witness individuals like Alize who utilize basketball to give back.

During his time at Missouri State, Alize was not only a force on the court but also demonstrated his commitment off the court. Even after signing a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers in his rookie season, he remained dedicated to his community and founded the Alize Johnson Foundation.

Hailing from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Alize has decided to give back to his hometown by initiating an impactful project. The foundation aims to install three NBA regulation outdoor courts equipped with adjustable hoops, lights, fencing, and comfortable seating. To ensure the safety of the youth in Williamsport, a security guard will be stationed at the courts from 4-8 pm.

This exceptional project, aptly named “WtaWtaW” (Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way), has received sponsorship from PRN Home Health Services and the Pepsi Bottling Group in Williamsport. At The Basketball Movement, we are proud of Alize’s commitment to his community and his determination to make a positive impact beyond the basketball court. It is truly remarkable when athletes, especially those we have had the privilege of working with, use their influence to create a better world through basketball.

Alize’s dedication to giving back is commendable, and we have no doubt that he will continue to inspire others and contribute to his community throughout his career and beyond.
