New NHTSA Study Shows Improved Vehicle Design Contributing to Historic Decline in Roadway Deaths and Injuries
The U.S has seen a dramatic decrease in the fatality rate and injury rate from vehicle crashes since 2006. This is good news for the motoring public. Features such as anti-lock brakes, traction control, air bags, intelligent seat belt systems, night-vision display, rear facing cameras, crumple zones and other safety features, all contribute to safer road ways.
