Russell Westbrook, James Harden, LeBron James Lead All-NBA First Team

All-NBA First Team

The 2016-17 All-NBA First Team has been announced, and it is no surprise that Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and LeBron James are leading the pack. Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden was unanimously voted onto the First Team, while LeBron James has made NBA history with his 11th First Team selection.

Harden, who earned First Team honors for the third time in the last four seasons, was the only player named to the First Team on all 100 ballots. James, on the other hand, received 99 First Team votes, joining Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone as the only players in league history to make the All-NBA First Team 11 times.

Joining them on the First Team are Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook, who also received 99 First Team votes, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, and New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis. This is the second time that Westbrook, Leonard, and Davis have been selected for the First Team.

All-NBA Second and Third Teams

The All-NBA Second Team consists of Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas, and Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. This is the first All-NBA selection for Antetokounmpo, Gobert, and Thomas.
