We Are United vs. MSU West Plains — The Basketball Movement

Tonight, something special is happening as Coach Rob Yanders brings his We Are United prep team back to his alma mater, MSU West Plains. Formerly an outstanding player at the university, Yanders is returning as a coach. We Are United prep school is a passion project for him, and tonight’s game holds a special place in his heart as he reunites with old coaches, his host parents, and the gym where he honed his skills.

The game will take place at Joe Paul Evans Arena at 7:00 PM Central. Yanders was not only a two-time All-American at MSU West Plains but also a member of their Hall of Fame. Although going back will be nostalgic, Yanders’ competitive nature will shine through when it’s time for tipoff.

“We are looking forward to it,” Yanders shares. “I had some of the best times of my life at West Plains, and I am excited to see everyone. I’m also excited for healthy competition for our guys.”

Currently boasting a 5-1 record, this will be We Are United’s final game before the Christmas break. Yanders believes it will be a fun and satisfying way to end the year before the players get some well-deserved rest and spend time with their families.
