Power Rankings, Week 14: Top 10 Teams Make Moves; Celtics Reclaim No. 1 Spot

Sometimes, the NBA can be unpredictable and full of surprises. In Week 14, there was a lot of parity across the league, leading to some unexpected outcomes. The higher-ranked teams from the previous week’s Power Rankings struggled, winning only 25 out of 49 games. The Phoenix Suns, on the other hand, had a remarkable week, defeating three teams with better records. The Hawks, Lakers, and Magic also had notable wins against teams ahead of them in the standings.

With so much shuffling in the rankings, it’s hard to determine the clear number one team. However, we default to the team with the best record and point differential, which is why the Celtics have reclaimed the top spot.

Plus-Minus Players of the Week

  • Jarrett Allen (CLE) had an impressive plus-76 in three games last week.
  • Ziaire Williams (MEM), unfortunately, had a minus-68 in three games.

Teams of the Week

  • Phoenix (3-0) – The Suns are on a roll, and they’ve shown great form, winning all three of their games.
  • Washington (0-4) – The Wizards had a tough week, losing all four games, including matches against lower-ranked teams like the Pistons and Spurs.

Week 14 Team to Watch
