He has been involved with The Basketball Movement since its inception, having worked closely with Robert Yanders even before he transformed the facility.

Apart from being a Yanders Law alumnus, Chris Ward is a well-known figure among local basketball fans. His jersey is retired at Kickapoo High School, where he excelled as an All-District and All-State player. Ward continued his basketball journey at Philander Smith College in Little Rock and even played professionally in the Republic of Georgia.

After realizing his passion for training and coaching, Ward decided to return home and join The Basketball Movement.
